About

I work with early-stage founders to get the foundations right before they spend years building the wrong thing with the wrong people. As a co-founder of Nascent, I focus on one of the most underestimated drivers of startup success: co-founder fit. Previously, I advised startups on legal and strategic matters at Deloitte, giving me a strong perspective on the structural decisions founders often overlook early on. I help founders: - challenge, refine and validate startup ideas - think through co-founder fit and alignment - identify legal challenges for bringing your idea to market My perspective combines startup building, co-founder research and legal thinking, helping founders avoid common early mistakes and make smarter decisions before they invest years of work. If you're exploring a startup idea or looking for a co-founder, I'm happy to help you think it through. Experience: co-founder of Nascent, founder of WeBark, ex-Deloitte (Scale Up Ecosystem)

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Tinrate?

Tinrate gives you direct access to experts for a paid video call. You pick someone, choose a time, pay upfront, and the call is confirmed. No back-and-forth, no awkward negotiations.

How is this different from just DMing someone?

DMs get ignored. Experts are flooded with free requests. On Tinrate, your booking comes with a payment which means you get taken seriously, you get on their calendar, and you actually get the call.

What kind of experts can I find here?

Business strategists, lawyers, tax advisors, tech founders, finance experts, coaches, AI specialists real professionals with real track records. Not influencers selling courses. People who've built, scaled, and solved what you're dealing with.

How much does a call cost?

Every expert sets their own rate. You'll see the price upfront before you book. Rates typically range from €50 to €500+ depending on the expert's experience and domain.

Can I book a call just to ask one question?

Yes. That's exactly what this is for. You don't need a project, a retainer, or a contract. One call, one question, one clear answer.

What if the expert doesn't show up?

Payment is held until the call happens. If the expert cancels or doesn't show, you get a full refund. You never pay for a call that didn't happen.

How do I know the expert is actually good?

Every profile shows the expert's background, experience, rate, and reviews from previous callers. You can read exactly what other people got out of their session before you book.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through Mollie, one of Europe's leading payment providers. We support Bancontact, iDEAL, credit card, and more. Everything is encrypted and PSD2-compliant.

How do I book a call?

Pick an expert → choose an available time slot → pay → done. You'll get a calendar invite with a video link. The whole thing takes under 2 minutes.

What happens after I pay?

You immediately receive a confirmation email and a calendar invite with the video call link. The expert gets notified too. Show up at the scheduled time and the call starts.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Each expert sets their own cancellation and rescheduling policy, which you'll see before booking. Most allow free rescheduling up to 24 hours in advance.

Why should I pay for advice I could Google?

Google gives you generic answers. An expert gives you answers for your specific situation, in 30 minutes, with follow-up. The difference between reading about fundraising and having a VC tell you what's wrong with your deck that's what you're paying for.

I don't know which expert to pick.
